I'll start a simular thread for boats elseware. A friend with a Christmas card gave me Clarkson top 100 cars of all time DVD; hence the idea for this thread. At the end and after people have posted their personnel top 10 picks the cars and trucks that appear the most times will become the all time best!!!!!! My list:

10- VW Karmann Ghia: handles like garbage, beattle 4cyl makes little to no power stock; but this car has style that gets chicks big time!!!!!

9- 1977 F250 high boy: my second real truck!!!!

8- Jeep Wagoneer: full sized original Grand Cherokee. The only 4X4 we did'nt kill off roading in high school

7- Ferrari 308: my favorite take home car allthough gutless in performance, Magnum PI looks made up for it short comings.

6-79 Mercedes 6.9: looked like a reg. 450SEL, the original AMG, ABS and gave both an XJR and M5 a run for their money on a highway.

5- 911SC: Porsche no substitute and no other 911 is more bullet proof.

4- RUF BTR: one of the fastest cars I've ever driver, 930 looks but better performance.

3- Series III Jag. VDP: classic British upper crust looks, just enough wood and leather with silky smooth V12. low center of gravity awsome sedan handling.

2- Rolls Royce Corniche: good style, not only gets chicks, Mothers give you their daughters at stop lights! Big plus you can get VIP at any night club if door people see you arrive in it!!!!!

1- Ferrari F355: fast, handles and has the Italian looks, plus you can drive it every day.....

Worked at a RR dealer so took one home with me and while stuck in traffic had some lady beg me to take out either of her two daughters..... Told her I stole the car!!!!

Good choices, Vette, both Ferrari's, BMW and the Porsche are amongst the nicest looking cars ever made.

I limited my list to cars I've either owned or at least driven.

Missed your 55-57 Chevy, uncle is prez of a classic Chevy club and they should be on my list.

3 - 10 are subject to change daily depending on what I see on my way to work and whether I'm mad at one of my cars or not. Also add a special mention for the Blue Thunder March GTP cars from the mid 80s. It would be on the list, but I thought I had too many race cars.

No, the original 512. I wasn't really into whatthey had to do to streamline the body and the big flares on the race car.

If we want to diig down into Ferrari sports racers, the 250LM was the most beautiful car ever built.

I was thinking of the 512M. I've been up close to one a number of times and really like the look. That 250 and the shark nosed car that Phil Hill drove are a couple of the pretties ever. I'm still pretty partial to the big displacement heavy metal though!
