Venture Trailers
Here's what happened,I bought a Venture trailer from a Diamond marine in Conn.and had it taken to Boston to the boat being shipped to the Westcoast.
When it arrivied I noticed that the middle cross member was set right under the middle axel, which had about a 1 inch clearance,It made it so when I went over a bump the center axel hit the cross memeber and it acted as a straight axel, and also the boat would bounce on the bunks.Other things with the trailer was ,1.The fenders looked like a kid put them on and weren't at all lined up,2. The light had been broken and someone repaired it and did a real bad job,3. the wiring had been so crimped under the clamps that the whole trailer had shorts and the lights didn't work right and also keep blowing fuses.
I then called Diamond marine and sent them pictures of everything and they said to just move the axel up myself,I said I didn't feel I should do it since it was a new trailer and was under warranty so they agreeded I take it to a pro.Well I took it to the local guy that does boat repair and also does warranty work on trailers,he fixed it fine.
Well today I got a call from Diamond Marine and they still haven't paid the bill(225.00)and they said that Venture would only give 100.00 dollars of the bill and I'd have to pay the rest. Its only a 125.00 dollars but I dont feel I should have to pay this.
So to all thats looking for a trailer don't go to Diamond marine in East Haven,Ct. as they dont stand behind anything they sell and its all about the money with them.
And as for Venture Trailers --What a piece of sh#
