DJF- I think for the 2007 2500 Suburban it uses the old frame, same as the GMT 800. Contact Putnam directly, call their sales line.1- 800-336-4271- edit they list the 25162 for the 2007 Avalanche-

I talked to both sales and engineering at Putnam and they said that they have not had access to an 07 2500 Suburban to verify measurements so they could not certify a receiver for the 07. I have the OEM receiver from my 01 Burb and he suggested that I compare it to the 07 bolt up for fit.

I'd like to hear if it does not fit.

Most dont have any issues. Have you looked at your trailer hitch ratings sticker just above the plug in? I bet you are exceeding the non WD hitch tongue weight.

I also changed to the XDR after purchasing the 357. I did not want to take a chance on loosing the trailer and the insurance issues.

trust me those are the wieght distributing numbers!

the straight pull numbers are closer to 8000/800

your 35 Cafe and the trailer wiegh damm close 12K DRY

do yourself a BIG favor and drop the $170 for a REAL HITCH.
