Brent called me today and all his 22.5's will have adapters for now, the other material to make them wont be available to him for another 4 months. We got to talking about it and he was very honest, it's very expensive to make them and the tires that are out there for them aren't that great, they are good for heading to the lake and looking cool...But for balls out work and towing the 19.5's are the way to go. He also does 17 inch for the single wheel guys...so there it is straight from the manufacturers mouth...make sure everyone compares apples to apples.

I totally agree, and have wasted the money to prove him right, my 06 f350 dually has Brentz 19.5x6.75 classics with 265/70r19.5 michelins on them and there is no camparison between the 22.5/adapters and the direct fit 19.5s,,,,19.5s all the way.
I did an earlier thread on the problems I encountered trying the 22.5s/adapters(what a waste),,,but different strokes for different folks.

your right, one of the other companys knocked off Brents adapter and is using cheap chinese metal and lots of them are cracking,( I wouldnt want that on my truck towing my Tiger) also another guy is using "used" rims and polishing and reconditioning them...so be careful what you buy, remeber if its cheaper, there is usually a reason why.

If you currently have a 10 lug on 11.25" circle the 22.5's will bolt right up. Stick with the alcoa's...load rated and have virtually no runout.

I think that the 5500 has a great big 8 lug pattern now that I thought about it. Check www.southwestwheel.com and see what they have. If they cannot get you a large bolt pattern 8 lug 22.5, you can probably get adapters through arrowcraft.
