So I finally picked up a roll of bunk carpet to wrap my PVC guide-ons before I chuck 'em all together or figure out a way to mount them with a little more width. Yes, I'd love to get rid of 'em, but the ramp I use most I'm always dealing with a crosswind and moving tide.
Will 3M Spray Adhesive work? Probably not waterproof?

Indoor/Outdoor carpet adhesive. I have a tub of it that I have had for years from Home Depot or Lowe's or the like.
As long as you can find some aluminum tube, and someone with an aluminum mandrel pipe bender, you can replace the support tube. Check with a local trailer shop as well. (Also, just about any machine shop. Electricians and plumbers also use them, and Lowes/Home Depot sell them too.)

Thanks Brian!
If I end up keeping the posts, I'll either relocate them to the fender support, or turn them "the other way". The "legs" are two different lengths and right now the PVC is on the long leg; flipping it will give me more width but lower the guide (might not be a bad thing). Mine are galvanized steel; I need the weight for the trailer not to float!
