2398miles sounds about rite. insurance, wear and tear, fuel, dot,mc, not for u just for a comercial transporter.u will just have fuel at apx,325 at maby 10 mi to the gal div by 5000 round trip if no other problems like flats, bearings, axles so on and so on? mabey get away with650 .00 in fuel then 4 u 4days up then 4 days back then 8 days if round trip that it would b for an average transporter, hope u r only going 1 way. god bless. good luck sincerly.hope the future brings u lots of joy and happyness,.drive safley.

I hope I did not offend you (looks like you're a transporter). I'm trying to figure out my total cost to buy and recieve a boat in PA. I am very early in the research stages and just trying to get info. I know the trip to PA and back would be long and tedious. I wasn't trying to insinuate (sp) $2.00 a mile was not worth the service you provide. I'm sure you guys earn every penny you make. I have more time than money (and a friend to share the driving) so for me it makes sense to make the journey. Trust me, I wish I could afford to pay for the transport.
