Is it on it's own trailer? What kind of boat, what is the beam and weight?

Yes, it's on a trailer. 353 Fastech, weight aprox. 10,000 lbs + trailer weight. Not sure of the beam... I think 8'.

Ouch! sounds like a $5,000 expense. Guess I'll be filling up the 7.3. I can buy a lot of diesel for 5K.

Thanks for the wishes Jimmy.
I hope I did not offend you (looks like you're a transporter). I'm trying to figure out my total cost to buy and recieve a boat in PA. I am very early in the research stages and just trying to get info. I know the trip to PA and back would be long and tedious. I wasn't trying to insinuate (sp) $2.00 a mile was not worth the service you provide. I'm sure you guys earn every penny you make. I have more time than money (and a friend to share the driving) so for me it makes sense to make the journey. Trust me, I wish I could afford to pay for the transport.

For what it's worth, it cost me $2250 to have my Cafe hauled down from Lake George NY, but that was in '04.
Nykamp is right on the money.
