I guess that all depends on the dealer. Most dealers will put the stock number or last eight of the vin on the tag somewhere so if this happens its there in black and white. I don't think any dealer would want to loose 20,000 to 25,000 on a used vehicle. If it was an honest mistake they will not honor it. But im sure you could still work out a good deal with them.
Now is the time you can get 0% for 60 months or 1.9% for 72. Very good time to buy an 07. If you need anything else just ask.

I have an 07 LTZ that my wife drives, the steering seems to be a bit touchy, but im driving a 2500 crewcab duramax with 20" rims so thats what im comparing, The new tahoe is a smooth ride though, she loves it. She was in an ML350, and glad to be rid of it.

Last I checked, 2009 model year would be the earliest that GM's new small-block diesel will available in 1/2 ton trucks and possibly full size cars. I forget the torque figure, but it will be about 300hp. There are some links somewhere in this forum that I found a few months ago

One of the biggest problems with putting the d-max in any of GM's full size SUV is the cost a loaded Tahoe, Suburban, Avalanche is around 50,000-54,000. Putting the d-max in that truck will increase the MSRP to over 60,000. not enough demand. It would be nice to do but there is alot of cost and changes to be made.
I hope the new diesel will work and that the cost needs to be about 1/2 of the current d-max and allison. Currently around 9,300 to add it to a Silverado.

That would be nice. I just hope they keep the cost down. I have a 05 Silverado that listed for over $48,000.00. One thing GM does not need is a Large SUV priced in the Cadillac range even with the Diesel. We have a hard enough time selling the SUV's in the $50,000 range.

Will be happy to let you know, but it may be a little while before I can get to this. In the process of a big move right now and overwhelmed with things to get done.

Just completed installation of the Hotchkis stabilizer bars Friday. This is now an entirely different vehicle. 100% improvement over the stock stabilizer bars. It now goes where it is pointed, no wandering. This is more like what I expected from this vehicle. Don't know why they can't do this from the factory ...
Hotchkis package was a click over $500 and well worth it!
Still considering some Bilstein shocks.
