most are rigged for both fuel tanks to be vented to the high side when tilted.

Seems like some here might think a tilt trl. is permanently tilted they are generally hydraulically operated and start off in the flat position then tilt to trailer so as to avoid over-width signage and permitting.

No reason not to dunk one in fresh water. See it happen often at LOTO public ramp.
Those who've been at PB2's main ramp know that the long trailers scrap going through the parking lot. I was messing with my trailer and did not know a boat trailer was coming through until extra loud scraping sound started. I glanced up and thought a big cat was falling off the trailer! Only took a spilt second to see that it was a tilt trailer, but several more seconds to get my heart started again.

Think how much it would cost to rent a crane every time you wanted to launch. I doubt many people would have a tilt trailer if they couldn't launch off it.

Funny you bring this up, I have been thinking about it the last 10hrs as drove the MTI factory and back.
I agree that it doesn't seem that difficult for a good fab shop.
As far as the boat goes the ones that I know of just have the fuel tanks and Dry sump system vented on the uphill side. The fills should already be sealed. I will try to post some pics next week, I have quite few as I have been thinking about this for a while also.
