454 Whipple supercharger on 496 Vortec???
Hello guys
A friend offered me to buy a 454 Whipple supercharger for 1996-2001 454(Vortec?)
It will not bolt right on as the blower outlet is for engines who got the throttle body on the left side otherwise than the 496 Vortec who got the throttle body in the front.
Despite the fact that it would work with some tubing and work.
Any opinion?
A supercharger is expensive and I would get it for cheap.

I suggest you call Whipple, you will be needing more parts from them to make the installation work if it is possible at all. The supercharger is only part of the Whipple kit.
