I get 2 trucks every year. I have a 07 F350 dually, pretty tricked out, being traded in and numbers given for it wholesale through the dealer was 35k...so a in and out for a friend to the dealership is 35299.00. I gain nothing, the buyer gets a truck at wholesale plus the 299.00 is a paperwork transaction..Truck has 28k, hard lid w/spoiler, turbo back dual exhaust, Afe big daddy air intake. All reciepts if interested. Jeff

If fuel economy is the biggest issue, you'd be best off to steer away from the new Ford (even though it is most likely the best truck). In comparison to its predecessors, the 6.4L is getting abysmal fuel mpg. My neighbor actually dumped his '07 with the 6.4L because of the bad fuel economy and went with a D-Max. It has proven to be much better for him so far in that area- he still believes (as I do) that the Ford is the best towing machine for the money.
Their is an excellent article of comparison in the December issue of Popular Mechanics Magazine on the newer diesel offerings from the big 3- it's an interesting read.

06 2500HD 6.6L LBZ Duramax. Gets around 18 on the highway and 12-13 around town (because there's a stop light on every block). It's actually for sale. PM me if you may be interested.

Thanks.... When I decided to buy a diesel truck, I chose the Chevy because I wanted something I could drive everyday and not have to let sit at the Ford garage all the time

It is optioned out nicely, sticker says 51600.00. Has leather, both heated seats, 6 disc, uplifter switches, cruise, rear window elec. slider, 15k tow hitch, and your typical options. Hardtop w/spolier, window louvers also painted to match, chrome bug guard, Turbo back into duals MBRP exhaust, AFE air intake, Bullydog monitoring system-egts, (SCT custom tuned programmer is extra-300) NO DOOR DINGS, SCRATCHS, very cherry. The 08 will be here sometime in early Jan. you would have to come down when my new truck is here to do the delivery swap. I do this every year and most of the time one of my employees or friends buys it, but this year, the economy is slow.

pulls great, ave. 14.2 city/hwy...this is real milaege, not some B.S. like you read...and I also have a 07 dually duramax, it averages about .8 miles to the gallon better, doing the exact same haul or driving around.
