I got out of quad building years ago. Hadn't been keeping up or following them since I moved to ohio from California. One day the neighbor kid comes running over "
dude you made dirtwheels list of 10 best quads ever!" and shows me the magazine.

I saw this on CL this morning:

And my three immediate thoughts:
1) Where can I get a roundy-round chassis?
2) Will PMT build one for me too?
3) Need new sawzall blades to cut down all local speed limit signs.

1) www.racingjunk.com Oval track cars for sale, Nascar section.
2) no. I wont go through all that again lol
3) save all your sawsall blades you'll need every one of them to get that body down on the chassis!

Brian - You know its interesting. On a regular basis and at least a half dozen times at the show guys would come up and say "Wow man thats an awesome car, what are you going to build next???" For me there is no next. If I could have afforded to have someone build it for me I would have in a heartbeat. I built this car to drive it!. Now that the car is up and running the whole "Nascar Chevelle" thing is just getting started.
I know this guy who has been building cars his whole life one after another. In recent memory he built a 77 tubbed supercharged chevy short box PU. show winner. Restored this 74 Vette put a 70 rear end on it, nice car. He built a really "nice" 32 Chopped Ford sedan ratrod. Restored an orig BBC 4spd 70 Nova. Right now hes building an sbc Endrele injected alcohol burning nostalgia jr dragster and is building a supercharged 392 hemi powered Willys Coupe at the same time in his garage. When theyre done none of those cars lasted or will last a year before he sells them and is on to the next. To me he's a "builder" Im REALLY looking forward to the driving and suspension set up aspects of this car. Im a "driver"
