Default H2's & Suburban's Manheim Auction $'s ??

Does any one know what the vehicles below are bringing @ the Manheim sales??

2006 H2 apx 30k mi lux, no nav, no chrome

2007 H2 apx 3k mi Has lux, nav & chrome

2008 suburban 4x4 20' wheels & all available options 5.3 flex fuel with apx 5k mi

I sold / traded my 2 H2's to a local dealer earlier in the year as I was tired of being hassled at the pump by azzholes.. This was before fuel went up as high as it is now & everyone got stuck with large suvs.. I saw that the prices would plummit in the oncoming future for many reasons & took the hint.. So I ended up with a 08 loaded suburban that had under 3k miles on the clock for my daily driver.. And cut my expenses going out while stepping into a newer vehicle with nice amenities.

The funny thing is they werent any worse on fuel than my last 6.0 suburban, 5.3 tahoe or my duramax was.. Hell my wifes 01 jeep cherokee daily driver gets about the same milage per gallon as the H2 & suburban does.. The smaller engines & fuel economy or this flex fuel chit is a joke as there is only a very slight difference in fuel economy.. It just looks better to tree huggers because they are more mainstream or it says flex fuel.. HA if they only really knew...

Anyway

As you may have already guessed the fuel $ doesnt really disturb me much. I also am not attached too much to my vehicles, as almost everything is for sale for the right price..

I have an oppportunity to get both of my beloved H2's back from the dealer and own them again, but for a lot less.. How much really depends.. Although they have been sitting on them & asked me if I would be interested in buying them back as no one has even remotley showed an interest in them because of fuel fears.. I have been the only owner on the 07 & the second owner on the 06, so I am not afraid of them for the right price..

I am perfectly happy with what I have now, but the though of running the H2's again possibly for a song does interest me. If I could have them at a low enough $ again, Then I could ignore or justify ***** slappin the next person that makes a rude comment at the pump out of sheer ignorance.. I just cant stand closed minded jealous people.

The thought though of having both my h2's back for a for what I am paying on one vehicle or less has sparked some interest if it works out..

Any info is appreciated..

Jamie

I have drive H2's for extended periods and the fuel economy is dismal but the duramax/ 5.3 Suburbans will get 3-4 mpg better. The 6.0 motor in the H2 is a dog and the tranny doesn't help either. Read an article on the "haters" of the Hummers and they quoted this site www.FUH2.com . Thought it was funny but don't need my car to be on the next H2 punked episode......

My duramax got 14.1 mpg no matter what.
My old 2000 6.0 Hd suburban got 11-13avg & 15-16 on the highway.
My 2004 5.3 tahoe got about 15mpg.
My current 08 5.3 suburban gets about 14-15 on average with a little more on the hwy..
My wifes 2001 jeep cherokee gets about 13-16 mpg no matter what with the old straight 6cyl..

My H2's got 10-12 for most driving and towing & would get 13-15 on the highway..

To me the condemnation of some suv's fuel consumption is silly. Again for the slight difference in fuel consumption it didnt bother me. It's not obviously going to be as good as a honda civic or a toyota prius..

Again , I am just thinking of taking the h2's back if it is a really checp price allowing me to laugh a little to the bank every month, should it work out that way..

Jamie..

I know that your Suburban is a 1500 Series, since it has the 5.3L engine, but is it an LT, LTZ or Z71 model?

Looks like some car rental companies dumped a ton of Suburbans on the market. Your's is the loaded up version, so it would be in the higher price bracket.
