Owners of 2007 up Dodge 3500's what have you found to upgrade your hitch?

Putman seems to be a named mentioned alot. Their class V hitch is suppose to be one of the best.

Ok which is it, Putman or Putnam?? How can I Google if it ain't spelled right? Got a link?

Thanks for this thread, it prompted me to lay my old body down(as I would look in a coffin) and see how my hitch is rigged. Looks pretty solid, triple through-bolted to the frame on both ends. I'll see what the hitch-makers have to replace it but I haven't towed over 7000 with it yet so I'm not sure I need to upgrade just yet.

Putnam XDR and Reese Titan-V do not make them for the 2007 up 3500 Dodge trucks. That's why I was asking what other owners are using. Sorry i should have clarified.

You did clarify, it says 2007 and up in the title and your post. I have an 06 so I don't know what I'm doin here.

I did not realize they don't make them.

I don't have experience with Curt Hitches, but check them out too:

I think there is another company called Harris, or something too; but its more custom mom & pop type stuff.
