No such thing as to much truck...The Cummins/Allison combo may not be as glamorus as the Cat power, but its still more than most of us will ever need....I'd have to see the fuel mileage to believe it..A friend of mine uses that combo in his wreckers and the mileage ain't bad,,,but nothing like is being claimed.

it simple buy the truck then buy a bigger boat and some decals so the match and watch traffic stop and let you go by

You can tow a 28foot boat with a 3/4 ton all day long. My chevy 2500 diesel has a 12000 towing capacity which is plenty for anything under 32 feet.

If you want it...I think you should buy it. The Cummins/Allison is a great combo. The truck looks sweet and can tow anything.
