I had a 1999 F-250 super duty with a V-10 and i went through 3 transmissions and they told me each time they worked on it that that item was covered for a longer period of time. I find it crazy that they are saying your radiator is on your dime when they have documented history that they have already worked on it 3 times before.
very good and accurate advice right here.... the installed part warranty stands on it's OWN merit regardless of mileage.

I good friend of mine is a die hard Ford Guy that has a 06 Powerstroke F-250. By 30k miles he had two sets of injectors replaced and the trans rebuilt under warranty. I own a 05 GMC Duramax with 65k and never once had a problem and I pull 10k lbs quite often. I work at a Chevrolet Dealer and we see very few Duramax trucks in the service department. Jeff Wurl

Chuck,

My FCSD rep emailed me back this evening after I talked to you. She said she will look in to your problem on Monday. I really hope she can help but just not sure. I sure hope it gets resolved for you soon. So sorry you are having these problems!

Sorry to hear about your problems. I have an 08 6.4 with 29k and haven't had any issues, other than the Venturi T being installed when it was first released. Good Luck and keep us posted

Chuck sorry to hear about the truck. They are nice looking but I am not a Ford guy. I have lemon lawed 4 vehicles in 9 years. (Audi, Audi, Mercedes, Mercedes). PM if you need any pointers......

As far as trucks, the Dodges are cool but made in Mexico and the trannys/interiors suck. The Duramax's are fine but can't tow what a 450 can. My 03 2500 Duramax has 139K miles, bought it new with no warranty work, a water pump at 106K miles, front wheel bearings and brakes at 135k. Total repairs was $2500 in addition to a pair of batteries and fluid/filter changes.

I'm with you on that one Dog the problem is the Big Three Japan companies don't offer anything that will tow my boat. Maybe KIA will come to the rescue.

Just glad that I have a good low mileage 7.3 PSD.

Lol! I agree, that is why my trucks are still American. I will say after 22 years of American made cars we went foreign back in 2001 and have never looked back. I love the fact all I have to do to the wife's car is change the oil and rotate the tires. Was never that way when we owned American. I'm getting ready to trade my truck again and am having a really hard time deciding on which American manufacture to get in bed with. I've been a GM guy since '79. I'm not thrilled with the current GM offerings. Tough decision...
