Looking for replacement front wheel hubs for an 2002 Ford F350 powerstroke 4X4. I would like to find American Made. Anyone know of any? I went to the Auto part store and the Jap ones weight about half of the originals.

I had a wheel bearing go bad on my 2000 F-350 Dually 4x4, and he hooked me up with parts from a local source to him that saved me about 50% over anything I could source myself. I also went to Warn manual hubs as one of my OEM vacuum hubs was FUBAR.

last time i worked on them i had to destroy them to get them off the truck a little grease would have went along way

I need the wheel bearing hub and just thought I would do them at the same time. Thanks for the offer on the locking hub. I am actually going to go pull the shock. I am getting a weird "clunking" in the drivers front end. The front end is solid with no play so I am going to check the shocks first and work from there. 94,000 on it so front might be getting some play.

Yo JFM i have an 02 also and My dad owns a repair shop been there for 14 years and since i was 12. Your clunking is not shocks its the pins for the swaybar. They are an inferior design for the size of the truck and they eat them up. The bushing most likley are also junk Id check there first if i was you.
No prob on the offer i had a truck with 1 bad locking hub so i just did oth and have a spare.

Thanks again, that would make some more sense. You can feel it on both drivers and passengers side floor as you are driving. Nothing hard are loud just enough to be a pain as you hit some small bumps. I now just need to get some motivation to go out and look.

They usually go bad on the drivers side first because of a power steering leak. The bottom bushings in the shocks also seem not to last very long.
