Good call on the long bed too Norty. It's an unquantifiable difference towing, but the wheelbase also "makes it better."
Jimbo going to hook you upon rims? Make sure you get some tires with large white letters! It's all the rage.
That way it will match all that chrome on the front!

Also, eyeball the numbers on the hitch receiver itself when you get your truck. I all but guarantee that you can buy a stronger one.

Yes I have Electric over Hydraulic brakes on the trailer. The factory hitch has the same sticker on the F350 SRW as on the Dually F450 and rated at 17,500 weight distributed and 8,500 carry.
The Excursion.....not sure what we'll do with it yet. It's only got about 40K miles on it.
