Default De-chroming chevy 2500

Just bought a 04 2500 chevy and was wondering if anyone has tried to remove after marked rock chip panels, fake chrome side mirror covers or door handle covers???

If you're looking for pics or instructions look at gmfullsize.com. Lots of people have done it there.

The door handle covers and mirror cover should just be double sided taped on. A little heat from a hair dryer or a heat gun should take those off. As far as the rocker panel covers are concerned they can be a pain to take off the same method could be used to heat them up and pull them off bu wear gloves since the metak gets hot. One thing that i have seen alot of is that people use that rocker trim to cover up damage so you may be in for a surprise once it is removed.

Anything w/ double sided tape you can remove w/ fishing line. Then to get off the residue use a 3M or similar eraser wheel, will be the only thing that takes it off without you hating life.
