The HD Bulldog jacks keep failing me - suggestions please..
I'm on my third heavy duty Bulldog tongue jack in less than 5 years.
The boat is heavy, 16-17,000 pounds and hence at approx 10% my tongue weight is 1600-1750lbs.
My driveway has a ight downhill slant so the jack really gets a workout to raise the bow high enough.
The last trip the jack collapsed and created a very dangerous situation that would have hurt someone in the way of that trailer crashing to the ground. The assembly does not get saltwater or rust buildup either.
Does anyone no of a hydraulic alternative? Or a product more stout than
Bulldogs best? Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Looks like you are above my experience and normal go to with the Fulton F2 line for a boat trailer.
I suspect your downhill angle is putting an even greater load than flat measured tongue weight plus the angle of force is not directly downward.
What model do you have? "Bulldog's best" would be surprising given their wide line of products.
Might check Bulldog again in their Square and HD Square series, all the way up to a new 25k, twin cam HD model. Scroll to the bottom of their HD page.
