Reminder to check those trailer bearings
Tragic, freak accident but nobody wants to be on the other end of this accident because of lack of maintenance. Reminder to check those bearings before the season gets going full bore.

That is scary as hell!
I had a wheel come off our trailer once with a perfectly fine hub, it was the lugs that failed and to this day do not know why. After a four hour trip in 102º weather we had to travel on a very long and rough road to the where we had rented a cabin, and along the way hit some good size holes. Thank god when it happened our friends were behind us and the wheel didn't hit anyone, never mind kill them.
Now on long trips I check the lugs before pulling out.
