Ebay custom order and drop shipped to my shop??

Thanks
you are up the road from Elkhart Indiana-- you can't spit in this town without hitting something related to trailers, RV etc. I would do a google search and see where the closest place is and then give em a call. I would suspect that the prices would be better

my 2 cents

safe boating

Lol, I agree, but the cheapest price was drop shipped from Dexter and purchased from the East Coast. Everyone local or even in Elkhart wanted $675 even if I picked them up.

I know this complicates things, but this would be much better for your hull to be supported by aluminum instead of just that aft 3' section of wood.

Also, I would take the time to add a pair of front V-bunks from the carpeted cross-member, to the cross member at the start of your large bunks. This will help you load much better.
You can buy all the supports for the 2x6 V-bunks from www.championtrailerparts.com

Last, you really can't mount your fenders until you have the boat back on. I think you are going to sit a shade lower with the new axles. And, those torsion axles rotate back a hair when loaded. You want the fenders centered over the axles when the boat is loaded, not when unloaded.
Thanks for the information. I am going to have new bunks made. And at that time I do plan on moving the boat forward. Removing the boat from the trailer is only a 15 min job with the forklift. (I've done it way to many times)
Thanks for the link.

What a difference. The trailer pulls amazingly well. With the removal of 1 axle I gained a little tongue weight, but I think it helped out. All swaying and bounce has been eliminated. All I need to do now is wire up all 4 brakes.

Measuring up some diamond plate.

Taking back to the shop to get a bath after a day of boating.
