Here's Ford's 2013 Warranty Booklet if it helps anyone:

http://www.ford.com/resources/ford/g...13Warranty.pdf

It has a pretty good breakdown of parts and Phone #'s for various Ford and etc contacts.

My 03 Duramax was bone stock and went 170K miles. Here was the total repair list:
1. 106K miles, water pump
2. 132K miles, one front wheel bearing (I changed both and did front brake pads while it was apart)
3. 155K miles, injectors covered under GM extended warranty (zero cost to me)
4. 165K miles, pulley failed, needed to be towed/new pulley and belt
5. 200K (I traded it, new owner told me he had only done a gauge cluster (used off ebay $25)

Did 2 sets of batteries and 3 sets of tires in my ownership but I would consider those wear items not repairs.

Now maybe I had good luck or got a good truck off the line but this would be my expectation owning a new 50-60K pickup......certainly not the nonsense listed above. BTW not a Ford hater, I traded the GMC for a new Ford back in 2011.
Go to any Ford garage that works on a fair amount of diesels and you will find a cab on the lift with the chassis sitting on the ground....its the only way they can work on these things....unreal....

I thought a recall was issued? There was a concrete guy at my house the other day with a 2012-2013 and I asked him if he got the recall and he said yes just the other day.

the recall is just to reflash the computer...nothing to do with covering/replacing bad sensors .

I called Ford customer service and believe it or not, they told me I had the option of having the truck towed to another dealer to get a second opinion....are they for real? What a way to treat a customer.
