I had a Duramax, I currently drive a Ford and if I went diesel again it would be another Duramax for sure.

Essentially unchanged from 2011 mechaniacally- they tell me there were tweaks to the DEF system and DPF

Just another Ford FYI....buddy had his ecoboost go boom last week. 2011 F150 crew 4X4, 42k miles. He is in his 50s, truck is bone stock/daily driver never tows/hauls anything big. Put pedal down to pass and traction control activated, truck shuddered and engine pushed a rod through the block. Ford is covering it under power train warranty.
