Nothing wrong with the truck, no accidents. It's a daily driver but no dents or dings, typical mileage shows, but it has been taken care of.

I'm going to try another dealer, but I may end up keeping it till next year and see what comes out from GM next.

When I bought my now dead 2015 dually I had an 07 2500 6.0 4dr 4wd to trade. Blue book said trade in was 15k. One dealer offered 6k. The one I bought from offered 15k. So very dealer dependent.

I was reading what internet rumors I could find. 2017 marks a re-design for the current version Duramax, also rumors of 990ft-lbs. (I think that's a little far fetched). But also some fuel system upgrades (pump & injectors) which appear to be a weak spot for this engine.

I will probably buy a used vehicle and not drive this as much, then trade when the '17s are offered. I am going to try another dealer for s's & g's, I'd be a little bummed if I bought a new one, and the next model year has +200 ft.lbs. We shall see...

There is a re-frsh for 2016 but 2017 is when the HD supposedly will get a newer Duramax. Your dealer is a Dbag offering such a low price. They plan on making a BOAT load off you...

Looks like I'm holding out for the 2017 before another dually purchase. Lol

I'm holding on to it. Going to buy another vehicle (used), then drive this one less until I can trade on a 2017, when the new engine package comes out.

Also thinking about a Ford, interiors and engines are pretty sweet.

If your going to buy a daily driver truck, might as well have some fun with it.

If you want a fairly accurate offer try Carmax. Be aware that a 5th wheel (if you have one) is considered a frame modification by carmax and will hurt the value at their stores as they only wholesale such vehicles.

Dealer offered me 14k for my 2006 ford f350 with 133,000 miles. just put rims, tires, oil cooler, radiator, alternator and bed cover on which cost 6k. I said no way. they came up to 16k yesterday and lowered price on new truck. looks like im headed to dodge for a new cummins dually. Hope its a good truck. Been a ford guy for 20 yrs but afraid of there engines and sticker price was crazy
