I would love to know more of the history of mine, I purchased it from a friends fathers estate in 1992, it had been housed in Lake Tahoe for many years, prior to that it was purchased from a drug auction in Southern California, The story I got, she made at least one trip from Mexico to So Calif. before it was confiscated. I got the order sheet from Cigarette, but had no luck in tracking the purchaser.

Aronow built me two 28s, a blue '73 and a white '76 with a red/white/blue striped interior. Aronow liked the interior so he copied it as a "bicentennial edition" 28.
My blue pictured 28 was that bicentennial edition also.with the red white & blue stripes
It had 270 T Volvos with speedmasters. I bought it from a guy Greg Young from Conn.

I had ordered mine in Nov/Dec '75 before all the bicentennial hoopla (remember that?) happened and the colors were chosen because the boat was going to be sold to a friend in So France for use in summer, you know, the Tricolore! I never told him that.

My blue 28 came with a three man bolster, red white & blue striped interior that I took out and replaced it with buckets.
I was the throttle man on the white 28 Great Adventure some times, and installed the red, white & blue bolster pictured when I bough the boat.
You can see it pictured in the Berks Law cig.
