I was told that running the exhuast brake was good "maintenance" for the turbo... just what someone told me. Plus it works great and turns heads when it's rapping away coming to a stop.

I've just configured fully loaded Ram Laramie Long Horn 2500 (coil spring suspension), Ford F350 Platinum SRW, and GMC Denali 3500 SRW...
...on each of their websites.
All 2017s
All Crew Cabs
All Long Beds
All Diesels
All Automatics
All heavily optioned; with the cheapest wheel/tire packages (because I plan to lift and upgrade)
Ford: $78,795 MSRP
............................................. ($500 published incentive not applied---> takes it to $78,295)

He paid $48K for his 2012 Lariat CC LB SRW F350, on a truck that had been on the lot for 6 months.
WOW. $30K coin separation for the same truck across 5 years? Granted, I haven't made an offer for anything yet. and the Platinum is more expensive than the Lariat...
...but let's just say it's realistically a $20K difference.
HOLY CRAP Ford. Props to them for not taking a bailout, but now we know why; perhaps.

I am happy to say that my pretty loaded 2016 Dually crew cab Lariat came to me at 58k, Over 11k off. Granted it is not a 2017, but it is a great truck and no teething problems. The market will dictate and adjust values, after the initial "Gotta have it " of the new model wears off. Absolutely nuts what the list is on the new Fords!

As an update to the freshie ordered to spec '17 Silvy 2500 my buddy ordered... He picked it up last Thursday the 2nd. So I think it was actually built and delivered ahead of schedule. He got the Midnight package/LTZ with all the goodies.
I was planning on holding out, but we got a '16 Silverado 2500 traded in with 13K on it. Midnight package, almost every option you can stack on a LT. So I decided to pick it up and save a ton of money. Looks damn near identical to my buddies '17 minus the hood and a couple small odds and ends (and the new motor obv.). Though I think I paid over 25k less than him

Congrats on the new trucks guys. I hope everybody is enjoying theirs as much as we love ours. After a months worth of use, I am sooo happy that we got the mega cab. That storage space behind the rear seat is very nice. Those chevys are nice and I hear the new motors are really smooth with no throttle lag when pulling out.

Lots of new Iron in here, I love it!!!! I always end up buying black vehicles, even though I say I never want to LOL. Been snowing up here off and on all week. Needless to say I made it across the street from the dealer after a fresh detail and it was wasted. Standard haha
