Question Dually wheels trailers

How come there aren`t more of these on the road?
Cost? Too wide?
Seems like they would turn easier ??

I agree, I only have a dual but if I got a big boat would rather have a dually then a triple. Hate the way triples turn in tight spots.

Default Did some googling

Seems they sit about 8" higher , with a tall boat that wouldn`t work.

One option witch I did I went with a 17.5 tire witch has a 6000lb load carrying. I built my trailer for my apache and used two 8000 lb axels and went with the 17.5 tires.

My current cat and my former cat were and are both dually, dually's. They pull great and don't try to peel the tires off the rim while turning.

Thank you, I meant of 14 apache's. I've towed a 45 Maximus on a myco tandem dually and it did turn, and ride nicely. But it does sit very high.

Getting to the inside tire if that blew might be a little more difficult?
