Going to give these Comp OE style rockers a try so to use the stock valve covers

finally got the custom length Comp push rods, I upgraded all of it to 3/8 for the higher spring pressure

What is the pipes going to the exhaust? Is this a CA car?

Its the smog tubes, hoses will connect them to the diverter valve mounted on the smog pump driven by the crank shaft, pretty much everything by 1969 had smog system, Cali or not
