ride quality ? sydwayz
It`s still a bouncy house ride in the back, been talking with Carli and Kelderman and they keep recommending lift kits.
Why do I need a lift kit for a better ride?
I don`t want the truck any higher so it seems I may be out of luck.
Any other products out there ? or cutting the stock springs to soften the ride ?

I wanted a lift kit, which is why I went with Carli. To my knowledge, no one makes a replacement rear leaf spring pack for the Ram 3500 which is not a lift.
You could consider buying the rear Carli leaf pack and having them de-arched.
The Carli leaf spring kit for the Ram 3500 that I run is actually 20% softer than the 2500's COIL springs. Air bags are a must to get your towing/cargo capacity back.
But the first thing I would do is air down your tires. When I am not towing, I run about 43psi in my 35" tires on 20" rims. And my truck rides A M A Z I N G. I wish I had more excuses to drive it.
You could also consider going to a slightly bigger OD tire, with additional side wall to cushion the bumps.

Like Sydwayz said, lowering tire pressure for daily driving will make the biggest difference. It is not necessary to run max psi when the truck is unloaded.

I use to beat my teeth out with 50# in my tires. Dropped to 35# and it’s like a new truck. I replaced the BFG with Falcon WildPeaks and they’re the best riding tire I’ve ever had on a truck.

We have lots of wash board dirt roads around here. I lower air psi on cust trucks all the time when going on road tests as I hate my brain being rattled.
Yes, I tell’m so they don't go hooking up some mega weight load without me or they putting air back in.

dude its a 1 ton dually!! I feel your pain. Had a 17 ram 3500. I dropped tire psi and it rode a lot better, big change was when I changed tires after wearing the stockers out. granted I did a leveling kit and 35s but the ride was big difference.
