I asked above, but are y’all getting your trucks with adaptive steering? My dealership said if I wanted it, my truck wouldn’t be here until April-ish if 2022, but if I remove it, I could have it this year. 2022 F450 Platinum Dually. Just seeing if what I’m being told is consistent. Thanks

Barr and Tyler already said they ordered theirs WITHOUT the adaptive steering. Post 47 and 50.
Aside from the delay on getting yours, that looks like more computer crap to go wrong in about 5 years. I'd be leery of that anyways IMHO.
How hard are modern trucks to steer without Adaptive Steering?
Gears in the steering wheel that either add or subtract rotations. No thanks.

Thanks for the follow up. Again, making sure the excuses from dealership is consistent. In terms of AS, I drove my buddies 2020 F450 with it and when navigating tight spaces (i.e. gas stations, etc) while towing a 40’ boat, it makes life easier.

No adaptive steering on ours. It's just more computer crap to take a **** later. Truck steers just fine without it. If you follow any of the superduty forums they'll give you an idea of any hiccups in the system and attest news.

At almost 60 days after the initial order date of 8/9/21 we still have not received a Vin# for our 2022 order. The order shows up as "Clean" on the dealer order tracking log.
