Also what kind of bunker are we talking about ?

Like a WWII pill box or something more home survivalist?

Same here and always float the boat onto the trailer. Power loading will wear out the carpet fast.

I can't remember where I got my carpet. Amazon maybe. However, the best thing I did was purchase an inexpensive rechargeable electric staple gun from Harbour Freight. Worked great and was easier and faster then a manual staple gun.

POWERSHOT Products Available Now - Lowe's (lowes.com)

It makes stapling just about anything a breeze. No squeezing. Just downward pressure.

I used to call up Heritage Trailers and they would ship, pre-cut, whatever amount and color of carpet I wanted at a very reasonable price. But I think last time I re-carpeted my bunker (sorry, couldn't resist) was about 10 years ago.
