Things are looking good for me. My girlfriend is not interested in doing the run. A few weeks back we went up to baltimore and the waves kicked up on the way back and she swore she wouldn't do anymore long runs until i got a bigger boat. However, I'm in the process of talking a couple of my buddies into doing the run with me. As soon as I get a commitment from them, i'm gonna sign up. Is there a place to put-in and keep my truck over night at middle river? I'm not real familiar with the waters up there. My area of expertise in the bay is from the magothy to the potomac.

Yes sir I'll tell ya what I'll do. I live in middle river and there is a ramp two minutes from my house,cost $18.00 in $18.00 but you can keep your truck and trailer at my house free of charge for the weekend.

cool, thanks brian. I'm gonna try to get everything squared away with my buddies this weekend while i'm home, and then I'll give you a call in July. Monday I head out on an aircraft carrier for two weeks and won't have internet or phone access.

I am glad this thread got back on track!! I must say as a whole, the Velocity owners are some of the friendliest people I have met out and about. That is probably the best marketing Steve could ask for. I'll be sure to visit.
