Fired it up on the bench this weekend. Sounded great. Just ordered a new ignition system b/c i had the mercruiser ignition from the old engine on it which limited it to 5000 rpms.

Hopefully i'll have it ready by the beginning of april.

Good job on the graphite Metallic paint color. Mind If I copy it?

It's about 230 miles from here. Thats pretty far for me. I'm going to have to wait until the time gets closer to see what my travel schedule for work looks like. I had a great time last year and would love to do it again, but it would probably mean i have to take friday and monday off work.

Understandable i was leavin early moring and taken monday off that was it but like i said i just wanna get ou there for the 1st year of haveing the boat anyway ill hoppefully see you around at some point

Dropped the boat off last night for the final install. I'm heading to the dominican republic tomorrow for 8 days, and when i get back i have tiki bar opening, then its prop testing time!! Summer officially begins for me at 5pm today! Here are some of the last pictures of the engine before it goes in the boat.

Pair of short deck 582's. 4.60 bore x 4.375 stroke. Running on carbs only. Hopefully make a conservative 700hp and torque below 5000rpm's
