Hey Sting,Your Velocity will run circles around that Fountain, you want to go bigger rather than go same size or in that case smaller.I dont know for sure but I think that boat is only 25 ft and then the beak,I am not 100% POSITIVE THOUGH.

32k seems high for a 1992 fountain 27. Its up to you, but i'd prefer the velocity any day of the week. a 27 fountain is real small. Its a noticable difference when you get into the two boats.

You need more seat time in the TBred to get comfortable. You would regret getting out of the TBred and getting into the 27 Fountain. The TBred will outrun that 27 in any water and you wont need as much horespower to do it.
Do whatever you have to to get to velocity fest and you will learn alot about running your boat.

Bring your boat to V Fest and we will help with props as I can bring several different for you to try.Arch has more seat time in that hull more so than anyone else I can think of.Your boat is a drivers boat and you have to be able to put it up on the pad and run it there and not be afraid of it dancing around a little,it is not a point and shoot boat like other brands are,get your seat time and set it up properly and you will enjoy it.I have owned Velocitys for years and they are the biggest bang for the buck, even though I would like to see a little more attention to detail and the finish of the boat.
