If it's the one that has one pic of it at a shop then it's the one that the mechanic claims he was screwed for over $15K+. New/rebuilt engines, drives rebuilt, etc or something like that. Guy paid with a C.C. then disputed the charges telling the C.C. he didn't have any work done on the boat. The mechanic also claimed the transom was wet but the owner didn't want to mess with getting that fixed.
All this seems weird so check it out for yourself. I only heard one side of the story so consider it biased. (There was a thread either here or on Speedwake about that boat)

Check with Frank AKA LS1NOVA,He looked at the boat and was test running it when the engine let loose.I do believe he told me the transom was wet.I dont know for sure but I would certainly check it over and have a survey done.It it does not have a wet transom it is a great buy.

I am very interested in the boat and was checking to see if anyone knew it's history.
It does have a picture of it setting next to a shop with an A-frame behind it.

Looks like the old Deland Honda Race boat to me, about the right vintage as well. Believe the owners name was Pepper Ernst (spelling?), and was run in a factory class.

Thanks for the info, are you guys sure the transom is wet.
Transom work is no fun.
I swear every boat that my wife and i like has something major wrong with it.

I heard that from a mechanic that claims he was screwed for $15K on that boat....I don't know either party and have no idea if it's true. Just passed along the info so that if you pursue the boat please make sure you have someone test for moisture as well as a complete survey. If the mechanic is correct then the owner would be the type to purposefully hide any issues that may exists.

Hey thanks,
I will have that checked for certain.
Is that a comon problem on a velocity?
Who knows,
If I was out 15,000 dollars I would do what I know best.
I am in Afghanistan for a reason you know.
