500 EFI in No Patience... Boat came with that name... thought about it a little and decided it fit... I had a 22 for over 15 years, bought it back when the factory used to be in Pompano Beach, still talk to Steve once in a while. Just had Kenny in my restaurant in NYC last month.
Love my 28... I've seen 78 on the GPS, keep thinking I would like a little more but hte EFI just runs so great and totally reliable, so I think I'll leave well enough alone... for now
Don't make me have to call "Tony", Those are nice moters. I looked at your resturant website and you are first class all the way, looks really nice. I know that's some hard work. I have never been up there but if I ever do, your place is one of my stops. I searched high and low for 500efi's for my 320 and couldn't find any to suit me. So I went with the Merc Supercats I found instead. We made 625 HP /615 FPT each on the dyno @ 5800 Rpms. Don't know yet how she will run still riggin but calling her "Crazy Energy"
Post #1 in this thread, that's her. VV or K.C.

Bruce I bought it on ebay, 56 was a fair price I thought. Then I blew an engine first trip out this last spring, 150hr on the 496. Then 1Hyper1 made me buy 100K worth of stuff to get it going again. I'm thinking she will have a purdy good scream factor when she gets back on the water.

The thing is, I wasn't shopping for a boat when I bought this one. I bid on ebay with 2 seconds left on the auction and then I knew I bought a boat. I was sorta recreational bidding and won it. So I thought what the hell I'll flip it.

Then I took it out and ran it a few times and got this bad fever. Plus hearing this kind of stuff from some member here.

I decided to just keep it. Well Bill you know the rest. Sure is fun ain't it. I can't wait for you to man the wheel.
