Thanks Guys, Didn't have much time to test, The extension boxes did help settle chine down. From 50 to 60 we had some hop, gave it a little more tab down @ 60-65 she padded up and railed to 90+ in a hurry then ran out of sticks. Slapping on a set of 32's 4 blades and see what she does next time. I'm thinking RaggedEdges #104 is realistic number now.

We just started testing we ran out of sticks with 34's got to 5000 rmps, I'm good to 5800, I do have some maximus labbed 5 bladed new. I,m thinking they will be a bit much too.

You doubted me? Mine was about 600 per side and ran just under the century mark, you should make it over pretty easily. I always liked the Hydromotives, ran quad 4's in a 30 pitch tweaked a little, but I didn't have the boxes. You might see if you could get some Quad 4's or P5's to try.

Just keep me in mind for the cast off props.

Ain't that sumpem, that has to be the two closest speedo's I have ever seen.

We are having to change the crank alternator pulleys, they are to small and aren't charging enough. They were made to run upwards to 8 gran on the Supercats, so i got some taller one's coming.

I have heard good things out of the hydo's. If the 34's are to much I am assuming the Maximus labbed 32's 5's are also to much? I do know one thing, if I could put the sound these engines make @ 5 g's in a bottle, I could sell them quick.

We did have some fun with a bass boat on the lake, he tried and had his rooster high, but couldn't keep up with that little 250 merc. he had.

vv,

Let me know what props you wind up with.
I just got mine going .I want to get the bugs ironed out and get the boat dialed in for speed.I ran the boat last year in a run with velocity. Steve said the boat could run over 100.
I think if i work with my tow a little maybe flip my props around it might get there .At 92 i had more stick but she was squirrly and ididn,t want to damage the boat

104 will be realistic,I am turning worked 32 four blades and it runs out of bottom before it will run out on the big end,it can and will be like driving a 22 on steroids.

No such thing as running out of bottom. Running out of balls might be a possibility .

If VV can turn some 32's to 6000 @ 10% slip he should be at 109-110 mph.

I looked at both blow ups, and there ain't 1/2 a curly one's diff between the two of them.

I wouldn't be the least bit concerned about the 50-60 mph hop either, it's the nature of the hull. My 32 did the same thing unless you had some tab in it. Just take your time and figure the quirks out. Glad to hear the boxes help, often wondered if that might help compensate for the short pad and make the hull think it was longer. You might be on to something here.

Keep me in mind for those cast off props, I love a 1/2 price sale!

Mikes280 told me, from the pics it looks like you are running merc sportmaster lowers if so have you thought about triming the skags everything i here they are 3 to 4 mph slower until you trim them and sharpen them up like a bravo skag stock they are about 2 inches longer. Anyone ever done it?
