On this boat and my last they they are mounted at the transom . I think you want to leave the running surface as undisturbed as possible . Teague makes an adjustable one to adjust the height to modify the drag and pressure .

True but to get to the transom I would have to pull headers to get to it. Did you get home safe?

mine are on the bottom of the pad on either side of the speedo pick-up , the speedo never seems to work on this boat anyway

KC,
I am installing a beam and trolly in my building. We can lift one engine out and do the work. Wait for offseason and we will set them on the transom?????

That sounds great but what do I do with these two big holes I drilled in the bottom of the boat?

I think I can drill a hole right through the top of extension boxes slap in a 12-An bulkhead fitting and route the drive water right there over the drives. I took the side plate off the boxes and have good access to the water hose. Reduce the 1-1/4 to 3/4 out the top and over the drives. Use the two thruhulls for the motors.

OK, here is what I came up with to discharge the drive water....This is a replacement of the OEM plastic inlet supply on the Bravo drive that allows stainless braided line plumbing. The adapter has 3/4" NPT threads and is hard coat anodized. I'll replace the old plastic 1 1/4" with this 3/4 inch and route it out the top of the extension boxes with a 90 looking towards the back to help cool the drives. I'll let you know how it works out. This should be a good clean exit. Thanks again
