Yes and no, I never went for a ride in the 35 Velocity, but I remember well when Blondie first came to town. I had a lot of fun in that boat. That was the summer of '85. I could tell stories for hours about that boat. We used to play hard in those days.

The one in canada started out in Alex Bay N.Y. Belonged to the Velocity dealer there, owner is a close friend of mine. He made a deal with Steve and traded it back in on a 32 for inventory after he bought his 41. Was traded minus the power, the canadian guy bought it from the factory and powered it with a pair of 525SCs with bravos and added a custom paint job. I have seen it pop up for sale a time or two since. Spent a bunch of time in that boat over the years. Mark L, the owner, and I did a bunch of poker runs team driving that boat, he would throttle and I drove. He had some blown 540s in it and it would top 100. The 35 was during the Thoroughbred days and called the Majestic Prince, the 26 was the Summer Squall, and the 41 was the Bold Ruler. Far as I know there were only a few 35s built.

It was indeed made in the 41 mold with the transom moved forward, as was the original 32 model I owned. Very tall boat with a huge cabin area, and the 41 style side by side bolster set up with throttles in between. With 540 Bulldogs and Bravos the boat would run low 80s.

Default 35 Velocity

I own a 35' T'bred Majestic prince (it's a 1992). It was originally powered by twin 525SC's but I've since replaced the engines with supercharged 502's and changed the original paint with a custom job to make the boat look more current. I bought the boat as a repo in Ft. Lauderdale and from what the salesmand told me the person that it was repo'ed from was a dealer in TX who started a boat business and never actually sold a boat...he just used them for fun and the bank took them away. I've only heard of one other 35' that was up in NY but have never seen another one. Maybe someone from the factory can shed some light on the history of this boat.
