yes, we just did the Cougar for Doc B. Which you can see on offshore only. We did a 41 Apache for TNT and Loren Liebel that is a better comparison. You can also find it at our website Guardadomarine.com I think the cougar is not uploaded yet.
Anything we can do to help on the Velocity will be my pleasure. We are restoring a 78 cigarette right now. You boys can use my shop and spraybooth free of charge.

Eddie, thank you so much for offering that! We're going to meet Chris at Velocity this weekend and hopefully get a gameplan together for the paint and start on the prep work if possible. We'll certainly let you know as soon as we have more details of what we need to do.

Everyone has just been amazingly supportive since I put this post up. Thanks again to everyone that is following or that has offered assistance along the way. Hopefully our hard work and the help from the talented individuals that are helping us will result in a finished product that everyone can appreciate.

Charlie, we certainly would love to participate in events like the Don Aronow Marathon and the Bimini Run. We'll see how much fuel capacity we can get in there!!

Steve will know a way to sneak some extra gallons in there and still keep the boat balanced.

We will also have next November 2011, the Fort Lauderdale to Key West run.... that will be just over 210 miles.

Really cool boat, story, & project!

I think the boat looks badass in it's original paint design, so I hope you guys are planning to keep it the same when you do the repaint. It's going to look incredible when you finish it, especially with all of the top notch help you guys are getting!

A friend of mine & I used to run a really cool single engine Velocity "Thouroughbred" around on Grand Lake back in the early 1990's. It had a 500 Bulldog in it, and would haul ass! We had so much fun in that boat. I can't imagine what that thing would have ran like with twins in it.

Absolute best of luck with the project & have a great time! Keep us up to speed with pictures as you make progress!
