The National Poker has been announced on the Velocity website.

The venue looks pretty much the same as last year. I'll be there!
Who else is going?

Tom,
Sorry to hear about your NY Poker Run experience - believe it or not I heard that this year was better organized! In years past, the 150 to 200 boats attending carried the event. I heard MAYBE 100 boats this year. It's over-rated by those that haven't done anything else. I'll talk to you at the VNPR!
btkatz,
The VNPR takes place on the Cheasapeake Bay starting across the bay from Annapolis and heading south for about 50 or 60 miles.

Velocity Poker Run
Last year we went and for the most part had a good time. From the last stop to Solomons Island a front came through and we saw 5-6 foot chop for at least 25 miles. It was very nasty. Not much fun. The Chesapeake Bay can change 3-4 times during the day. Be prepared to buckle down if necessary. We like the ride they do but the Bay can get real ruff real quick. Saturday night will be a lot of fun. May see you!
