Default 410 Velocity

Is anyone familiar with handling characteristcs of the 410 Velocity. I dont see a lot of them out there compared to the 390 model. I know they have the same hull as the 390 with taller sides. So do they handle as well and do they run the speeds of a 390. Ive always heard nothing but great things about the 390

The 410 is a heavier, less streamlined boat compared to the 390. This is especially true for the second generation Super Sport Cruisers with the higher raised deck that came out in 2006 (the Eagle boat). Although there's always exceptions, the typical 390 set up will run about 4 MPH faster with the same power. From my limited seat time in 410's ,they do feel very similar just "heavier" in the water. Hopefully some guys that have owned both (like STEET?) can comment further.

Thanks for the info, im Just thinking about moving up to either the 390 or the 410. So I just wanted to get some opinions from some owners before I beat the pavement to hard on finding one.

You won't be disappointed with either. They both have the same running surface. 39' is cut down about 18" over the 41'. I know from experience my boat will get up on the pad and runs efficient like the smaller Velocity's. If you want larger cabin go 41'. 39' is just less head room. 39' runs very, very, well. Bob

Guys, Both the 390 and the 410 are great boats. I enjoyed both of them and personally each one has its own personality.
The 390 is faster, more sleek, but has less cabin overhead. It would be what suits you best. I like the taller cabin in the
410. But I also like the little extra speed of the 390. I would have a hard time choosing between the two

Check out the clean 390 we just listed with stock power on www.UpperChesapeakeYachtSales.com. Easy on gas and insurance and priced to sell quickly. Trades considered.
