Default Bblades 4 speed on Velocity

OK for many of us boating season is done for the next six months so we think of things such as new props. The new Bblades 4 speed is very interesting. Has anyone with a Velocity tried one? If so....What Velocity, motor etc. What were the results?

I was also wondering about this prop. Thought about trying it thru Bblades prop test program.

I may have to give Brett a call this winter.
Hopefully someone else will chime in.

I tried one that was a bone stock 26 and it got on plane the same as a stock Bravo 1 on my boat. I didn't get to test true WOT results because I was running on batteries that were at 11 volts. I didn't know that my alternator had died at HOT BOAT WEEKEND.
With EFI I find it hard to believe that I was getting any where near full HP.
The engine was running like crap. To be honest I shouldn't have even tried to run it. I did hit 105 at 6100 the same as a stock Bravo 28.
My goal was to hit 6400 RPM.
With the BBlades labbed Bravo 28 I hit 112 at 6100 RPM HOT BOAT weekend with 3/4 tanks of fuel. one hour later I blew 1/2 of a blade off of it. ( bad casting )
off topic - with Holley EFI how much higher should my rev limiter be set above the 6400 target RPM?

Thanks, it will be interesting to see what happens when you are running right. Bummer on the broken blade.
Can't help on the rev limit.

What does Brett say about the blades cracking etc? How old were they? I have always been told that props will eventually fatigue with use and even more so if they have been worked.

I'm running Hill sl4 props. They are a little thicker blade. True to pitch. Haven't tried anything else yet.
