Default 26 kevlar or 22 kevlar 1986????????

Anyone know about this model. Is it a 22 or a 26. i not very familliar with these and would like to hear thoughts on it if its a good one or not.

That’s a 22’ and this quote from the ad is false “1986 Velocity last year Steven Stepp owned it”.

It’s also very doubtful that hull is full Kevlar which in the 80s was extremely expensive and almost exclusively used in the racing environment. There may be a few Kevlar strips used in high stress areas but no way should the claim be used to inflate the price. Otherwise the boat is a classic and may be a gem in the rough for the right price.

Interesting boat. I don't know about the Kevlar but 1986 was about the time Regal started making Velocity boats. Later Steve left Regal and started building under the Thourgbred name. Even later he got the rights back to Velocity. The add is not necessarily wrong about that.

If I was closer I would be tempted to look at it. Could be a fun boat.

Hi everyone thanks for the replys. It is a 22 . Thats what i thought, listing was wrong. It looks like a nice boat The 26 thing threw me off. I was nt sure. Either way im going to pass. Going to see what comes up? Really want to go big or a 24x7 style. i stll dont rule 20 out. im up in the air and all over the place.. ughh. Thanks
