Yes I know the boat. It was specially made to accommodate a driver that was in a wheel chair. I seem to recall that Matt Trulio or Jason Johnson wrote an article about the driver and boat in OSO in 2006. I'll search OSO to see if I can find anything. It was a long time ago but I recall the name "King of Hearts" associated with the boat or the article. Although I can't offer any procedure advice, this can't be the first time that a Velocity was seized by law enforcement and actioned off. No doubt things work differently in Greece however to register a boat without a title. Suggest you give the Velocity factory the benefit of the doubt as they are as helpful as they can be and will be useful to you in the future even if they can't reproduce the original certificate now.
In Greece for register a boat without title you need an official document from government if it takes from auction or invoice from dealer, ce or iso certificate and European conformity.
Yes of course the factory has the benefit of the doubt.

Wasn't able to find anything on your boat on-line. Searched OSO, Speed on the Water and Poker Runs America where I saw the boat at the Sarasota Poker Run in Spring 2007 I believe. Hopefully someone else may also remember the boat and or article. I'll check in with a contact who may have some information.

The 41's have a very deep cockpit from all I have seen. From my poor memory, the 39's had the freeboard cut down.

Mike,
Are you on Facebook? Both Scott (the current owner) and Velocity is on facebook and very active.
You could also hit Kenny up to see if he remembers the boat, he was with Velocity back around then.

The boat was built for Charles Kaufman and sold by Kenny.
It's scallops on the front not flames. I laid out the paint at the factory. Boat was named heart of gold and had two playing cards on the front (a king of hearts that was gold instead of red and a wild card with a pin up model).
The engine hatch is lowered to just on top of the motors and the cockpit sole raised a foot up so he could see out. Yes it was built for a wheelchair.

Does anyone recall what state the boat was registered in prior to leaving the USA? If Florida I may be able to find a copy of the original registration, if another state I may be able to pull a report on the original title and registration details.
anyone recall where King of Hearts was initially delivered to?
