Ordered a prop from Kenny...
I ordered a labbed Bravo from Kenny at Velocity yesterday. What a nice guy, and very knowledgeable about our boats. He suggested a 30P Halls-labbed Bravo for my boat. If I get it before the weekend, I'll post the test results. I was running a 27P Hydromotive before, and was looking for a better midrange. (I have three Hydro 27's for sale, btw.)
I'll post results as soon I get finished testing it. I'm running a poker run this weekend, so I hope it works out!

Re: Ordered a prop from Kenny...
I'll be interested in your results. My boat seems to work best with a labbed 27 Hydro. I tried a labbed 30 Bravo from Kenny and I lost top end and cruise speed (5 mph). Doesn't make much sense.... I am wondering if the prop was mis-labeled or something.
Kenny definently knows how to take care of customers.

CAVelocity, that's odd...
What power do you have in your VR1?
My speed at 3500rpm is right at 46mph. What are you seeing?

The jury is still out on the Bravo...
I ran FULL of fuel on Friday, so probably not representative of my performance yet. Holeshot is definitely better, I picked up 2mph at 3500 (now around 48mph). I was hoping for more midrange speed. Lost a couple of hundred rpm on top, down to around 5K. But, like I said I was REAL heavy (about 800lbs of fuel & passenger). So I'll hang on to it until I slim down some, but I'm thinking the 28P might be the ticket.

Re: Ordered a prop from Kenny...
Hey, bglz42, could you post another pix of the back of your boat showing the placement of your trim tabs?
I'm wanting to place mine in the same way, horizontal as opposed to at an angle following the boat bottom as they now are. I just need a visual as to the placement on the hull, Thanks!
PS. good luck with the prop!
