Looks like tons of room in the 39 cockpit, not sure about the 41.
Tons of room on the 41, could easily do 4 bolsters. I wish the deck was 3' longer and everything was moved back.

That was a thought for the 390 that was in the Miami show, but there wasn't enough time to make it happen. I would love to see it.

Thks for the response guys.

Mr Velocity: I'm sure yourself or your mechanic appreciates the space in the engine compartment though........looks comfy

I have a great mechanic, but when he works on my boat with the twin BB's he has to literally stand on his head to change plugs etc.

Blew the impeller on a water pump a couple of years ago...........whew! that was nuts to fix

Back to the 4 bolster thing: I wouldn't think it would be that big a deal to add a second set to an existing boat which I think would make for a cool ride. Have never seen in any boat book a 39/41 with a second set of bolsters.

Ice almost off the river here. Hope to crack the boat in a week!

I have a lot of room, I had Steve build the boat with enough room to put in trannys and blower motors, "just in case". The only drawback is the boat is so deep climbing in and out is a pia.

LOVE the 41's deep freeboard I see from pictures (looks like shoulder high at the helm). I know it is not the Atlantic............I grew up on Prince Edward Island (Cda.), but Lake Ont. is a big pond and th' bigger the better here on some days.

I have a line on a couple of 540's. Does Velocity build to suit without power? Easy enough to drop your own power in if the boat is otherwise rigged. New blue motors are pricey to say the least.

Thanks.........want to take a look at Marks' (@ Hutchinsons) 41 first.

Have not seen a 41 in person before, and it has been a while since I have seen a 39.
