Would also consider 34p but not sure if I can spin them fast enough

correction: #3 or #4 short shaft

I just bought two sets of props from a thread i started but 27daytona said he has 31x17 5 blade herrings. I know i can't spin them but maybe you can.

17.5 might be too big. How much HP/TQ are you pushing?

#3 or #4 short shafts is what I need, I was mistaken on my original post/title.

I have some 17.5 x32 4 blades for sale there for # 6's but you can get a adaptor, they maybe 17's not 17.5's.

Ok that makes more sense. Im running 800s but i haven't ran it yet. Hoping to get it out on the water this weekend to do a little testing and tuning

Do you know what the diameter difference is on shaft, small versus large?

I believe these are small.

he stated short shaft, i'm not sure if he means short as in 4" hub like really old style #2 SSM drive??? ,

19 spline with tapered seat or 26 spline that seats at end of shaft like #6

rbesola... what boat? what drive? what ratio? how high is your drive? these are questions that need answers before props are selected... 17.5" will dig in to much if drives are deep...
its not about how much power you have its about allowing the engine sufficient slip to achieve RPM to get that HP
