Keep looking on CL. I just got one down here for $250 in nice shape 28P Bravo RH. After I bought it a few more popped up. Not too many regular boaters can spin a 28. And after they mistakenly buy one for their stock 502 mag, CL is a no brainer.

This guy owns CP marine in tempe arizona fwiw. He's the same guy that I sourced my 28 bravo from for $250. With shipping I wouldn't think it would overrun your $300 budget. Worth a try!
