i am looking for a set of 049 or 781 bbc heads,anybody have some laying around?

No but I do have a nice set of the famous 2.25 valved 088's .

I have a set of 049's that came off of a running 454. Don't know too much about them otherwise. I would imagine shipping from NH might be a bit pricey but if you want them shoot me what you consider a fair offer.

i have a set you don't want. sitting on my pantera engine since 99 not running. effinscreenname has a set he was gonna run but i think his plans are changing.

I have one extra 781bare casting that has been machined for 1.88 and 2.19 oversize valves incase you find a single. Fed ex shipping to illinois would be about $45.00

Those should help those whippled 1200s make a little more low end power. You gonna pull skiers this summer with the Fountain ?
